We Have a Great (small) PA System! Many years of playing professionally on stage, recording, and engineering live sound for local rock and club bands has resulted in the accumulation of a small-but-mighty PA system. We use this equipment for our own occasional performances, and are now booking small sound engagements for festivals, lectures and concerts, for clients such as Art by the Bay (Camano Island's arts festival), the Skagit Humane Society, and the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Our system is small but efficient, and has the ability to cover moderate sized crowds, depending on the type of music. No, we can't take on the Rolling Stones, but we can handle many of the small-stage concert and public address needs for clubs, local festivals, community fairs, and lectures, at reasonable rates. Without going into excruciating detail, there is an ever-growing complement of dependable gear, including Bose Personal Amplification Systems, subwoofers, Electro Voice powered speakers, Mackie mixers, Aphex and Alesis processors, Shure and CAD microphones, DI boxes, wireless, a basic stage lighting system, and more. Plus, the gear is relatively unobtrusive and clean, unlike a lot of the road-weary gear used by sound reinforcement companies. And we have a talented, experienced sound engineer (or two) available to run it all.
